Put information where the question arises.

A screen by reception can show breakfast times and available services. At a meeting area entrance, it can show an event name and room. Find the visitor’s decision point rather than simply the nearest spare space.

The display should fit with the furniture without obscuring existing signs. Preserve sufficient contrast, comfortable text size and clear movement around the equipment.

Information that is easy to maintain.

Stable information

Create a base for opening times, access and regular services. Each important item should make sense without relying on a previous slide.

Today’s events

Prepare a template with the event name, time and room. Check the schedule before participants arrive and remove information after they leave.

International visitors

Use short wording and visual cues. For a bilingual welcome, plan the layout from the start so each language remains comfortably readable.

Carry the welcome into the meeting room.

A totem or A-frame handles communication in the lobby. A conference display serves a different purpose: presenting, annotating and working together in meetings. Keeping those functions distinct helps select the right equipment for each space.
